Dear Mr. Brisk:
In response to your inquiry about the Endagain machine, I will begin my remarks by saying that it irritates me everytime we use the machine. I ask myself, "Why didn't we come up with this idea? It is so simple a concept."
We at Fishel have owned three of Ron Wadle's machines, including his first prototype, and have benefited from the increased productivity from the first day.
Ron Wadle took a difficult problem and solved it for the fiber optic cable placement contractor. Prior to this invention, the traditional method of getting a fiber cable through an underground bore, or under some other obstruction, was to offload the reel of cable in a figure-8 pattern until you got to the other end. Then, that end was threaded through the bore, etc., and reloaded on the original reel. The problems that contractors faced with this approach were:
| 1) | The fiber cable was exposed to damage from other pieces of equipment running over it. |
| 2) | The manual handling of the cable sometimes exceeded the allowable bending radius of the cable creating micro fractures in the fiber. |
| 3) | Sometimes there simply was not enough room to figure-8 the cable efficiently. |
We at Fishel applaud Ron Wadle for his "invention" and continue to ask ourselves, "Why didn't we think of that? It is so simple a solution to our problem."
Very truly yours,
THE FISHEL COMPANY

By using ENDAGAIN the fiber is contained on the unit, out of the path of equipment and pedestrians, taking up only the 8 ft. by 16 ft. size of the unit itself. Also, the fiber is kept off the ground and out of the mud.
ENDAGAIN is equipped with "AUXILIARY" hydraulic outlets, allowing the user to operate other hydraulic equipment, such as road boring equipment, blowers, and hydraulic water pumps. These outlets are capable of producing 1800 lbs. of hydraulic pressure at 14 GPM.
The ENDAGAIN II PLUS is electric over hydraulic, making our unit fully automatic. Once the travel speed is set and the arm reaches the end of the drum, it automatically returns, continually lacing on fiber until the removal is complete, or the operator stops.
